The five transformations (5 elements)

 

The transformation of energy from pole to pole, from yang to yin, goes through two poles in electricity, positive and negative. It goes through five poles in the human body (as shown in the figure below). These stations form a complete and recurring cycle in which yin becomes yang and yang becomes yin again; Infinitely. Night becomes day and day turns into night. Life ends in death and death into rebirth. Profits and sages throughout history recognized this important cycle and spoke of it in details.

 

• Night energy

This is the still energy. A phase of quiet energy. This phase in often likened to water. The body organ identified with similar energy is the kidneys.

• Dawn energy

This is the rising energy. A phase of upward expansive energy. This phase is often likened to wood or tree energy. The body organ identified with similar energy is the liver.

• Noon energy

This is the most expansive stage. A phase of expansion in all directions. This phase is often likened to fire. The body organ identified with similar energy is the heart.

• Afternoon energy

This is the beginning of the yang phase. A phase of condensation from all directions. This phase is often likened to soil or earth energy. The body organ identified with similar energy is the pancreas-spleen.

• Dusk energy

This is the extreme yang phase. A phase of extreme condensation. This phase is often likened to metal energy. The body organ identified with similar energy are the lungs.
