Typhoid, Brucella Melitensis & Brucella Abortus are bacterial infections (salmonella and its variations for typhoid and Brucella Melitensis & Brucella Abortus for melitensis) that develop quickly and deplete the body reserves of sodium for typhoid and calcium for Brucella Melitensis & Brucella Abortus, especially in the GI tract. Any body that is afflicted with typhoid has very low reserves of sodium and anybody afflicted with Brucella Melitensis & Brucella Abortus  has low reserves of calcium.
